SMC Concrete Accompanies "Warm Love" Club to Deliver 600 "Meal of Love" to Pediatric Patients on June 1st
(SMC) – Hướng tới Ngày Quốc tế Thiếu nhi 1/6, hôm nay ngày 27/05/2026, Công ty Cổ phần Sản xuất - Thương mại Sài Gòn (Bê tông SMC) sẽ phối hợp cùng Câu lạc bộ Thiện nguyện Ấm Tình Yêu Thương tổ chức chương trình ý nghĩa mang tên "Bữa cơm nghĩa tình" tại Bệnh viện Nhi Đồng 1, TP.HCM, mang đến 600 phần ăn ấm áp dành tặng các bệnh nhi và thân nhân đang điều trị tại đây.
International Children's Day is always an occasion for society to show special care and love for the younger generation. However, for hundreds of pediatric patients at Children's Hospital 1, this holiday takes place within the space of hospital rooms with prolonged treatments. Understanding the physical and mental difficulties and fatigue that the children and their families are facing, SMC Concrete wishes to bring a practical action to share and warm up these less fortunate lives.
As part of the company's 2026 social responsibility activities, this "Meal of Love" program is carried out through the close companionship of SMC Concrete and the "Warm Love" Charity Club. This cooperation continues to affirm the business's commitment to not only building quality projects but also actively contributing humanistic values to the community.
According to the plan, the program officially takes place on the morning of Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the campus of Children's Hospital 1 (No. 341 Su Van Hanh, Ho Chi Minh City). The team of volunteers from SMC Concrete and the Club will gather early in the morning to carefully prepare the logistics. 600 meals that ensure food safety standards and are rich in nutrition will be handed directly to families according to the voucher system coordinated by the hospital.
A representative of SMC Concrete's Board of Directors shared: "Besides business and production activities, responsibility to the community is always the guiding light in our corporate culture. Although the material value of the 600 meals is not too large, they contain deep sympathy, love, and spiritual encouragement from all SMC employees sent to the children. Seeing the children's smiles is the motivation for us to continue carrying out many more kind journeys in the future."
The "Meal of Love" program ahead of International Children's Day on June 1st not only helps reduce daily economic pressure for the patients' relatives, but also sows more faith and energy for the "little warriors" to bravely fight illness, return to school soon, and fully enjoy their childhood.
